Draft for legal review. Details shown as "To be confirmed" will be completed before this site goes live.
This policy explains how the company operating Education OS (legal name to be confirmed) ("we") handles personal data on this website and in the Education OS platform, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Two roles
Website: we decide how data submitted through our forms is used.
Platform: institutions decide what student, guardian and staff data they enter. For that data the institution is the Data Fiduciary and we process it on its instructions.
Data we collect on this website
Details you submit in the demo or contact forms: name, institution, role, email, mobile number, city, institution type, approximate size and your message.
Your cookie choice, stored in your browser.
If you accept analytics cookies and analytics is enabled: anonymous page-view statistics.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo and send a proposal. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form.
We do not sell personal data and do not use form data for unrelated marketing without separate consent.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise your rights. Contact the Grievance Officer (see Contact & Grievance).
Children's data
The website is not directed at children. Student data in the platform is entered by institutions, which are responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent where the law requires it.
